Regena Larrabee Seehausen died on July 31, 1964 at age 48 in Camptown.   She left behind four children,  her husband, Paul Henry Seehausen, her mother, brothers, sisters, friends, and many other relatives.  She also left behind a self-published book (1964) called Poems.   In November,  Paul Henry Seehausen will have been dead for nearly eleven years.

In 1966 Paul Henry Seehausen Married Janet Baird Brown Mudge, who also had four children, a daughter and three sons.

Christmas 1990, Oxford Scan Straightened JUL 12, 2014 We have had a lot of good times, and still do, including  Christmas 1990, pictured here. This photo was taken twenty-four years ago, halfway from the time Janet and Paul married forty-eight years ago.

Religion in Malaysia

DSC03543 Wikipedia description of all of the Malaysian religions, copied from Wikipedia on July 11, 2014.  Very notable is the fact that Muslims are not allowed to convert to any other religion in the country.  These include Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, and various Chinese religions.   This policy permits ever increasing growth of Islam, and means of official indoctrination.   Anybody trying to convert from Islam is sent to a camp to revise their thinking.  A punishment.

It struck me that this is a very similar tactic to those used by those conservatives advocating the signing of the “Pledge for America”, in which Republican politicians promise not to raise taxes in any forms at all.  These signatories are thus subjected to gros party line indoctrination.  The punishment of being cut off from the super funding enforces the doctrine.

Qualities of Mind

10277556_10203953053215490_232904504218129824_n This gong reminds one of compassion, which I have just learned is one of the four Buddhist endless qualities of mind.   The other three can be termed loving kindness, sympathetic joy, and equanimity.  I found these in two places (get).

I just learned about these searching for “qualities of mind”.  I am so glad I have some help while going through the shadows.
