St. Patrick’s Day Shamrocks in Galveston. These plants that grow abundantly here and seem to be one of the 300 species of clover or shamrocks. If you look up shamrocks in Wikipedia you can see a photo of a plant that looks almost exactly like this.

It has been cold, in the 30s and 40s, overcast, and rather windy for several days now. It does not bother the lettuce, cabbage, garlic, onions, carrots, or dill.
It really chilled the tomatoes (top of planter) which I was sprouting outdoors. They had been very regular. We’ll see if they survive.
The new radishes which I planted are not doing as well as I expected in the garden, although they are doing well in this planter (bottom rows). Right now I think that they have been too wet, which may cause them to be susceptible to some fungus. The older radishes, planted last fall, are not developed, and have clear fungus on their roots. They had been more developed earlier in the winter.
