 Wikipedia description of all of the Malaysian religions, copied from Wikipedia on July 11, 2014.  Very notable is the fact that Muslims are not allowed to convert to any other religion in the country.  These include Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, and various Chinese religions.   This policy permits ever increasing growth of Islam, and means of official indoctrination.   Anybody trying to convert from Islam is sent to a camp to revise their thinking.  A punishment.

It struck me that this is a very similar tactic to those used by those conservatives advocating the signing of the “Pledge for America”, in which Republican politicians promise not to raise taxes in any forms at all.  These signatories are thus subjected to gros party line indoctrination.  The punishment of being cut off from the super funding enforces the doctrine.
